It has been so over-used and abused. It is such a mouthful too. Wish there was an alternative term.Cobalt Paladinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16132478811872405144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14523930.post-86756661754854759502008-05-14T12:29:00.000+08:002008-05-14T12:29:00.000+08:00Hi Joe,No, I should thank you instead. It is an honour and my privilege that you've continued to read my entries.

It is my pleasure to share. :)Cobalt Paladinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16132478811872405144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14523930.post-62416042826828681102008-05-14T12:25:00.000+08:002008-05-14T12:25:00.000+08:00That paragraph you quoted from your speech is so i...That paragraph you quoted from your speech is so incredibly true. If the speech is anything like what you have written on this blog over the past few years, i'm sure it would be an excellent speech. Wish I could be there to hear it. :-)

I was relating to a few friends over beers on Monday how most Singaporean bloggers writing about entrepreneurship (ugh, I hate that word), especially if they're students, have a very skewed, overly-optimistic view about running a business. Sure, they may talk about hard work or sacrifice once in awhile, but it seems mostly like lip-service to me. Hehe, I even coined up a new phrase during the meetup, "Dao3 Nee1 (soy milk) Envy". Ask me about it if we ever get to meet. :-)

So although I wasn't there, thank you for writing and presenting that speech (and for writing this blog!), and offering a more balanced and realistic view of how things really are. It takes so much time and effort to share your experiences, especially when there always seems to be so many things to do everyday. So, thank you Paladin!Joe Gohhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07594815802479311665noreply@blogger.com
